Kitchen Cabinets, Supplied and Installed by One Crew

Most cabinet showrooms in Orlando sell you the boxes and hand you a list of installers. Most installers ask you to go buy the boxes first. We do both: we are a dealer partner of DL Cabinetry Orlando, a local warehouse that builds semi-custom plywood cabinets in more than a dozen door styles, and we install what we order. One drawing, one itemized quote, one crew, one person to call.

The part homeowners notice on the quote: the cabinets are listed at our dealer price, line by line, and our labor sits on its own line. You see what the boxes cost and what the work costs. Ordering through us is simpler than ordering yourself, and you do not over-buy — every filler, panel and toe kick is on the drawing before the order goes in, which is the single most common thing that stops a self-ordered kitchen on install day.

Door Styles & Finishes

Shaker in white, dove gray, navy, sage green and black — the style in nine out of ten Orlando kitchens we install. Slim shaker for a cleaner line. Flat slab in matte white, gray or wood grain for modern kitchens. Raised panel for traditional homes in Winter Park and Windermere. Stained oak, maple and walnut when you want real grain.

Every semi-custom line we order has plywood boxes, dovetail solid-wood drawers, soft-close hinges and slides, and a factory finish. Glass doors, open shelving, spice pull-outs, trash pull-outs, lazy susans and 42-inch uppers are catalog options, not custom work.

What a Kitchen Costs, Supplied + Installed

Figures for a standard 10×10 kitchen, about 20 cabinets. Installation labor in Orlando runs $75 to $150 per linear foot; the range covers wall height, crown molding, islands and how much old cabinetry comes out first.

Cabinet line Cabinets (10×10) Installation Installed total
Semi-custom plywood shaker (DL Cabinetry, ordered by us at dealer price) $3,400 – $5,500 $1,500 – $3,000 $5,000 – $8,500
IKEA SEKTION (you buy, we install) $2,500 – $4,500 $1,800 – $3,500 $4,500 – $8,000
Stock big-box (Home Depot / Lowe's) $2,000 – $5,000 $1,500 – $3,000 $3,500 – $8,000
Fully custom, local cabinet shop $12,000 – $25,000+ $2,500 – $4,500 $15,000 – $30,000

Real number, not a range: a 20-cabinet white shaker kitchen with plywood boxes and soft-close hardware came to about $3,400 in cabinets at our dealer price in July 2026, fillers and toe kicks included. Lead time was three weeks. That is the kind of line item you see on our quote.

How Ordering Works

1. Measure and draw

We measure the kitchen, note windows, plumbing, the range and the fridge, and draw the layout with every cabinet code on it. You approve the drawing before anything is ordered.

2. Pick the door and finish

Samples in your kitchen, under your light, or a visit to the DL Cabinetry showroom on West Colonial. Color on a screen is not a decision; a door in your hand is.

3. Itemized quote

Cabinets at dealer price on one line, installation on another, countertop and trades as options. Estimates hold for 30 days.

4. Order and lead time

Semi-custom cabinets arrive in two to three weeks after the order is paid. We pick them up, check every box for damage the same day, and store them until install.

5. Install

Old cabinets out, walls repaired, ledger set level, uppers then bases, doors adjusted, hardware and crown installed. One to three days. Then the countertop template.

Why Buy Through the Installer

  • No over-buying. Fillers, end panels, toe kicks, dishwasher panels and crown are on the drawing, not discovered on install day.
  • Damage is our problem. Boxes are inspected at pickup. Anything cracked is swapped before it reaches your kitchen.
  • One warranty contact. A hinge issue a year later is one call to us, not a debate between a store and an installer.
  • You can still buy your own. IKEA, Home Depot, Lowe's, a shop you already like — we install those too, and we will check the plan first for free.

Custom vs. Semi-Custom vs. Stock, Honestly

Stock cabinets are fine when the kitchen is a simple L or galley and the budget is tight. Fixed sizes mean more fillers. Semi-custom is what most Orlando kitchens should be: catalog sizes in 3-inch steps, plywood boxes, real hardware, two to three weeks, and a price that leaves room for good countertops. Fully custom makes sense for an unusual layout, exotic wood or a match to existing millwork — and it costs three to five times more and takes six to twelve weeks. If your kitchen does not need it, we will say so.

Kitchen Cabinet Styles Popular in Orlando Homes

White shaker remains the safe resale choice. Two-tone kitchens with a navy, green or natural-wood island are what new Lake Nona and Winter Garden builds ask for. Flat-panel slab in matte finishes runs in downtown condos. Stained white oak is the 2026 request in Winter Park and Windermere remodels.

Custom Kitchen Cabinets FAQ

How much do custom kitchen cabinets cost in Orlando?
Supplied and installed, a 10x10 kitchen with about 20 cabinets runs $5,000 to $8,500 with semi-custom plywood shaker cabinets, $4,500 to $8,000 with IKEA SEKTION, and $12,000 to $30,000 with fully custom cabinetry from a local shop. Installation labor is $75 to $150 per linear foot. Every quote is itemized: cabinets at our dealer price on one line, labor on another.
Do you sell the cabinets or just install them?
Both. We are a dealer partner of DL Cabinetry Orlando, so we order semi-custom plywood cabinets at dealer price and pass that price through on your quote. We also install cabinets you buy yourself from IKEA, Home Depot, Lowe's or any other supplier.
Can I buy my own cabinets and have you install them?
Yes. Bring the plan or the order confirmation and we quote the installation only. If you have not ordered yet, we will check the plan first: the most common problem we fix is a missing filler, panel or toe kick that stops the job on install day.
What is the difference between custom, semi-custom and stock cabinets?
Stock cabinets come in fixed sizes and a few finishes, in stock at big-box stores. Semi-custom cabinets come from a catalog with many sizes, plywood boxes, soft-close hardware and modifications, built to order in 2 to 3 weeks. Fully custom cabinets are built from scratch by a cabinet shop for one kitchen, in 6 to 12 weeks, at three to five times the price. Most Orlando kitchens are best served by semi-custom.
How long does it take from order to finished kitchen?
Two to three weeks for the cabinets to arrive after the order is paid, then one to three days of installation. Countertops are templated after the cabinets are in and take another one to two weeks. Plan on four to six weeks door to door.
Plywood or particleboard boxes?
Plywood. Every semi-custom line we order has plywood boxes, dovetail drawers and soft-close hinges and slides. In Central Florida humidity, particleboard boxes swell at the sink base within a few years; plywood does not.
Do you handle countertops, plumbing and electrical?
We install the cabinets and coordinate the countertop template. Plumbing and electrical reconnections are done by licensed trades we work with regularly, quoted separately so you can see each line.
