PAX is IKEA's wardrobe system — frames, interiors, and doors that look built-in when they are assembled square, leveled, and anchored. Inka Installation is an independent IKEA PAX installer in Orlando. We do not sell the boxes. You buy PAX at the IKEA Orlando store on Conroy Road or online. We assemble every frame, install KOMPLEMENT interiors, hang sliding or hinged doors, and fasten the run to the wall.
A PAX closet is not a bookshelf. Frames that sit off-level, doors that scrape, and units that are only "tipped" against the wall are the usual DIY outcome. We treat PAX like cabinetry: inventory first, square assembly, stud or block anchors, then door alignment last.

Standard PAX frames come in 19 5/8", 39 3/8", and 59" widths, with 22 7/8" or 22 1/2" / 22 7/8" and 13 3/4" depths depending on the current IKEA lineup, and 79 1/4" or 93 1/8" heights. We assemble frames on-site, check for racking, and join multiple frames into a continuous run so the doors read as one closet, not a row of boxes.
Drawers, pull-out trays, shoe racks, wire baskets, jewelry inserts, pants hangers, and shelves only work if the frame is square and the drawer slides are parallel. We install the KOMPLEMENT layout you ordered — including mixed hang / fold / shoe configurations for master closets and secondary bedrooms.
Hinged PAX doors need consistent reveal and soft-close that actually catches. Sliding-door PAX (AULI, HASVIK, and similar) needs a level upper track and frames that are plumb so the panels do not bind. We hang, adjust, and test the full travel before we leave.
Every PAX unit gets anchored. Orlando construction is a mix of wood studs, metal studs, and concrete block. We locate structure and use the right fastener — not a single drywall anchor from the box. That is the difference between a wardrobe that stays put in a Florida storm season and one that can tip.

We install IKEA PAX lighting kits and can add a simple LED run when the closet is dark. Corner fillers, cover panels, and top boxes are cut and fitted on site.

We check frames, doors, and KOMPLEMENT against the order before a cam lock is turned. Missing or damaged parts get flagged so you can deal with IKEA while we install what is complete.
Frames are assembled, joined, and shimmed. Closet floors in Orlando are rarely dead level. We compensate so doors hang true.
We find studs or block, drill, and fasten. Units are not left free-standing.
KOMPLEMENT goes in after the frames are locked. Doors and hardware last. We walk the closet with you, adjust anything that is off, and haul out the cardboard.

PAX is the right call when you already bought IKEA, you want a wardrobe look on a budget, or the room is a rectangle that matches frame widths. A custom closet is better when the room is odd-shaped, you want a continuous 9-1/2" top shelf, or you need millwork that is not a grid of 39" boxes. We install both.
